Warranty and Returns Policy

National AC Parts warrants parts sold against defects in manufacturing or faulty workmanship, subject to the manufacturers terms and conditions of sale for a period of 12 months. This is the only warranty given by National AC Parts and is in addition to the owner’s statutory rights relating to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010. Nothing in this warranty shall be construed as affecting any statutory rights the owner may have under any State or Commonwealth legislation which provides rights which cannot be modified or excluded by agreement. No person has the authority to change these obligations and liabilities.

 

Warranty Conditions
The part must be returned to National AC Parts or the Manufacturer directly. We will provide the address for return once the claim has been submitted.
  a. A purchase order is required to purchase the replacement part pending a decision of the claim.
  b. The warranty given is replacement only, no labour or shipping costs are accepted.
  c. The claim should include a copy of the tax invoice and any required manufacturer claim form with the item returned.
  d. The equipment must be installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and specifications by a licensed and qualified person.


Warranty Exclusions
  a. Transport or installation damage.
  b. Damage or performance related problems due to incorrect power supply, external wiring, voltage surges and fluctuations, or external electrical or electromagnetic interference.
  c. Any damage to the equipment caused by negligence, ingress of any foreign matter or person, animal or plant or part thereof, vandalism, accident, flood fire, lightning strike or force majeure.
  d. Damage or performance related problems due to corrosive environments (eg. Coastal, Mining, Sulphur areas, Swimming pools etc.).
  e. Any additional exclusions specified by the manufacturer.

Warranty Procedure
  a. The faulty part is to be returned to National AC Parts at the customer's cost.
  b. The faulty part will be sent to the manufacturer for testing and performance evaluation in accordance with the manufacturer’s inspection procedure.

 

If the part is found to be faulty by the manufacturer, National AC Parts will;
  a. Replace the faulty part and deliver to the customer's address at no cost.
  b. Warranty is replacement only, no labour costs are accepted.
  c. Credit the customer for the return delivery costs.

 

If the part is not found to be faulty by the manufacturer, National AC Parts will;
  a. Reject the warranty claim;
  b. The customer will be notified of the findings and requested to either;
     i. Collect the part from National AC Parts, or
     ii. Will be charged shipping costs to deliver to the customer’s address.

 

If the part is found to be faulty by the manufacturer as a result of external circumstances;
  a. The warranty claim will be rejected.
  b. The customer will be notified of the findings and requested to either;
     i. Collect the part from National AC Parts, or
     ii. Will be charged shipping costs to deliver to the customer’s address.

Return Procedure (Non Warranty)
National AC Parts accepts the return of the part if the part supplied is different from that specified on the purchase order. The cost of the return freight will be at the cost of the customer.

 

If the part has been opened and is considered to be used and not fit for resale, National AC Parts is unable to accept return of opened (deemed used) parts.

 

Parts that are unopened and accepted for return will incur a 20% manufacturers restocking fee. National AC Parts cannot accept any costs associated with returning the parts.
